Community Involvement

Community Involvement at Honda North

We're actively involved in donating to a multitude of different charitable causes. From local to state and national/international levels, we strive to give back. While we have three primary charitable causes that we donate to, we also have a long list of other good causes, services, and charities that we work with. From local concert bands and junior golf teams to Paws Walk, St Jude, and many others beyond, we're committed to giving back.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

Emmaus "Where Everybody Matters"

Emmaus has been helping people facing homelessness rebuild their lives and reach their fullest potential in the Greater Haverhill community since 1985. Here at North Honda, we've proudly donated to Emmaus for many years, attempting to support a local 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides emergency shelter along with affordable housing in Haverhill, MA (and beyond). Beyond providing affordable housing, Emmaus also provides supportive services. Emmaus established the D'Youville Center For Social Justice. Services offered by D'Youville Center for Social Justice include career services, parenting support, and empowerment programs. Emmaus is committed to connecting people to community resources that will help them rebuild their lives. That's a pretty great cause to support, if you ask us.

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates)

CASA is a Massachusetts-based Association that strives to support and develop local CASA volunteer advocacy programs to campion the best interests of children in the Commonwealth's child protection system. The vision is simple: "A Commonwealth where every child has the opportunity to thrive in a safe and permanent home." CASA takes a multi-pronged approach, by spreading the purpose of the mission into several different goals. Some of these include; 1: provide capacity-building support to local CASA programs around volunteer recruitment, training, and supervision; 2: to raise public awareness about CASA, its mission, and the experience of children and families involved in the child welfare system; 3: to provide statewide training and professional development opportunities for CASA staff and volunteers; 4: To coordinate a highly-effective statewide public policy agenda that will result in a more just and equitable child welfare system and better outcomes for children and their families.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

"Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a celebration of courage and hope, a movement uniting communities to end breast cancer as we know it, for everyone. For three decades, these 3-5-mile non-competitive walks have collectively grown into the nation's largest and most impactful breast cancer movement - providing a supportive community for courageous breast cancer survivors and metastatic breast cancer thrivers, caregivers, and families alike. "
