Steps to Reset your Honda Civic “Oil Life” Indicator

  1. Turn your key in the ignition, but don’t start the engine.

What Factors Affect Oil Life?

Multiple factors affect how often you should change your oil. Among them are your vehicle’s engine load temperature, and mileage. Your driving frequency and habits also have an impact in terms of average speeds, and what kind of terrain you cover in Ipswich. Because each of these factors has an effect on oil life, the length of time between oil changes can differ each time. Fortunately, the Honda Civic oil light makes knowing when to schedule service a lot easier!
