    A low center of gravity, five person cabin, and five-door access helps meet the versatile needs of today's modern family. With plenty of comfort and headroom for everyone, the 2012 Insight has added extra noise-cancelling measures for an even quieter ride than previous models. The LX trim features map lights, steering-wheel-mounted controls, and premium fabric upholstery. The top of the line EX trims get Bluetooth® connectivity, rearview camera, synthetic leather, automatic headlights, and a 16-gigabyte flash card system to improve routing and FM traffic updates. All 2012 Insights come equipped with remote entry, cruise control, front and side airbags, and Vehicle Stabilty Assist® with traction control.

    On the outside it is strong and lean, characterized by projector-beam headlights with blue tinted chrome bezels and unique LED brake lights. These give maximum illumination, greater visibility, and an unmistakable nighttime signature. A redesigned backend allows for greater visibility in the 2012 Insight.

    At its core, the 2012 Honda Insight is still a hybrid. The ECON button allows the driver to choose between more performance or more fuel efficiency, automatically adjusting many of its functions to maximize fuel- efficiency and minimize torque, or vice-versa. Through the Multi-Information Display, the driver can quickly access fuel economy numbers, trip meters, and other data to improve their "Eco Score". It uses a smooth, high-tail design to move swiftly through the air with little resistance, allowing it to burn as little fuel as possible.

    Where safety is concerned, The 2012 Honda Insight comes with anti-lock brakes, electronic brake-force distribution, brake assist, traction control, dual-stage front airbags, front side airbags and side-curtain airbags.
